Letter from the Jewish Board

The Jewish Board

Dear Sirs,

On behalf of the children and families served by the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, I would like to thank you for your support of our Westchester Campus programs. Your donation of holiday gifts for our young residents is deeply appreciated.

At our programs in Hawthorne, children are given permission to dream, to hope for and to achieve a better life. Through treatment, education and exposure to independent living skills, they can attain this life. We could not do it without the support from our community and people like you. A core part of the mission of JBLS is to foster a shared commitment to Jewish values. The generosity and thoughtfulness of this donation did just that and is a true mitzvah. I hope you will join us in for a site visit in the coming year, to see our work in action and meet some of the residents who received your thoughtful gifts.

On behalf of the board, staff and—most of all—the 43,000 people we serve each year, please accept my gratitude for your generosity.
