Our friend and colleague, Steven Milligram

Dear Members,

It is with profound sadness that I share with all members of the JBLS 9th JD the tragic passing of our friend and colleague, Supreme Court Justice Steven Milligram.  Steve fought courageously for a month against the ravages of COVID-19.  He succumbed this morning.

Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, successful attorney, former local judge, and in January 2020, he commenced his short-lived career as a New York State Supreme Court Justice.  A tragedy for all, including our state judiciary which he so loved and respected.  As a personal friend, he will be sorely missed. 

Our hearts, though broken, must continue to beat and may our memories of him forever be sweet.

May his name be forever blessed.

Rest In Peace Steve.
